Kelly and Art are a New York dwelling couple tying the knot on May 12, 2012. I’ll also be the photographer at their wedding  next year, so they’re getting the complete package, from soup to nuts, beginning with our engagement session.

They live just across the river, in lower Manhattan, so it wasn’t too difficult a decision deciding to shoot our E-session in one of my favorite locations for this type of photography, Brooklyn Heights and the Promenade.

The morning was one of the coolest we’ve had yet, as we transition into the fall, but it warmed up as the sun rose.

I was excited about this session because it gave me the chance to check out the Carousel installation at the Brooklyn Bridge Park, finally. Afterwards, we all went out to lunch at the nearby ReBar.

Again, I couldn’t have been as successful without my team, much thanks to my girlfriend, Michele, and to Casey, who  recorded video of the session.
